Star-Lord and the Guardians travel the galaxy to save planets and protect them while Peter tries to figure out who his father is. The first Guardians was a solid Marvel movie and my favorite to watch for its comedy, spectacular visuals, and fun characters to care about. The second was not as good as the first but it’s still something that needs to be seen. Let’s talk about the positives first; Baby Groot stole the show as we all know he would. The intro is perfect and hilarious. The cast is great and the comedy always hits. Visuals are still beautiful and better than the first. Now the negatives; I thought the pacing was very slow and it takes awhile for it to get moving. The film revolves around so many characters that some of the scenes could’ve been cut out. For the second half of the film and on the team is in this planet with Peter’s father which slowed it down for me. The father and son relationship could’ve so must better but it sadly wasn’t.
